Video Editing

Hey All. I have a few questions about video editing. I have a long piece of video, and want to cut it into two parts, so I can put each part on a seperate DVD. What software would I need for this, and could someone give me a simple tutorial? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Video Editing

depends on your OS...for Mac, you'd use Final Cut or Avid Xpress...on PC, there's a ton of programs out there--Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, Avid Xpress, etc...about the cheapest and easiest is going to be TMPGEnc...there are tutorials and more over at videohelp.com
