Re: boot?

Can we get a bit more information about it? What is the name of the band? (A good place to see if it's legit is to check the band website as they usually have a discography list there.) Who is it put out by (the label name)?

Re: boot?

Did you look at their official forum? http://www.melvins.com/ (Sorry, I'm on dialup and can't get the site to load.)

What I meant by label is like "Columbia Records" or "Arista" or "Deca", etc.

tried the site, but all i get is a pop up with new music by them, can't navigate to any actual info.
i think this is a boot, but it has a physical address listed for the label which i find odd for boots

Very strange label name - I thought you were just accidentally giving me back some boot title on the cover. Sorry about that.

Is this it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Your_Ch..._Series_Vol.12

It does look official - here is the discography on wikipedia (look under the Live albums) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melvins_discography

Re: boot?

that's the conundrum i'm in, looks somewhat official, but any lists i've found (like the ones you mentioned) have both boot and official recordings listed. bought it years ago at a store in canada that was shut down for selling boots. guess for now i won't up it til i can find out for sure if it is indeed official or a boot

Re: boot?

We had that one sold in our store back in 2001/02, I remember it being definitely official. As far as I remember, that was an European, even German series of releases, including other Indie-artists.

Re: boot?

Yes, official. Distributed by Cargo-Records, a distributer I´m still working with.
