Help with rar files

Ok I downloaded a program that is in rar. I want to burn it to disc so I can install it on my laptop. I am using uTorrent. So I guess I need to make it a TS folder.

Re: Help with rar files

7-zip.org to unpack the rar

no need to make it a TS folder

Re: Help with rar files

rar is a compressions scheme. You need to get something to 'unrar' them. (I think the app is actually called UnRar on a PC, I can't remember, just google it.)

Re: Help with rar files

Download 7-Zip 4.42 (2006-05-14) for Windows:

Link Type Windows Size
Download .exe 32-bit 818 KB
Download .msi x64 1238 KB

Which one do I download.

Re: Help with rar files

I would guess you are running 32-bit, so the exe file should do it. If you do happen to be running 64-bit, then grab the msi file.
