Digital Video Cameras?

What are the good ones? What has the best resolution in low light? How long is battery life? How much zoom can I get? What has the best zoom resolution in low light? Been thinking about getting one and wanted a little feedback.

Re: Digital Video Cameras?

Go with the Sony pc1000, get the 2x telephoto lens. It is three chip and has 10x optical zoom (like all the sonys) which is why you will want the lens doubler. Buy xtra batteries. Get a good tripod.

Well, I guess it depends on the venue/artist, but I'd like to get something veristile that I could stealth with if need be. Looking to spend around $600 to $700.

Just curious what would be the best thing under $1000.
