Question Replacement for MyDVDedit on Catalina

Hey all,

So I finally (and reluctantly) made the big upgrade to the Catalina OSX on Mac. Unfortunately, the software MyDVDedit is no longer compatible. I've used it for years to easily convert a lot of PAL DVD torrents I've downloaded here to NTSC so I can burn on DVD and watch it on my DVD/Blu-Ray player. Does anyone know of a replacement program (whether freeware or paid) that can do the same job as easily?

I use both Burn and Toast 18 to burn discs and am open to advice on how to use those tools to convert and burn VIDEO TS files from PAL to NTSC.

Many thanks in advance!

Re: Replacement for MyDVDedit on Catalina

Wondershare UniConverter (formerly Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate) has the capability to convert files or burn discs NTSC>PAL and PAL>NTSC.

I've never used this particular function, but I have used it to rip DVDs, convert video files from one format to another, and to record streaming video live. It is quite a versatile program with a number of other functions as as well.

Currently, $69.95 gets once a lifetime license to use the program. I think it is also available for a monthly or annual fee. My experience with their customer service has been good, although I haven't done this for a few years now.

Avail. for both Mac and Windows.

For less than $69.95, you can get a DVD/Blu Ray player that is region free, in fact I'm surprised you have one that is not region free.

Check this free multi-OS tool: https://www.videohelp.com/software/DVDStyler It works perfectly at least on Windows.
