this one looks bad to me but what do I know

Although think I can see noise all the way to the top the frequency looks like it was cut at 15k

I think its just eq... there's no hard evidence visible, but the tampering with the highs could be hiding something. listen to the cymbals & see if you can hear a distinctive mp3 swish, from what I can see with my eyes its okay.

Re: this one looks bad to me but what do I know

for those reading this is not the same show, it is a similar known mp3 source

pls zoom the SA to 2-4 seconds no highlight and look carefully at how square the cutoff is on this last one. we should be able to easily spot some squares there (which I can't spot in the first screencap).

yes, the FA alone shows nothing, looks about the same

Re: this one looks bad to me but what do I know

also some possibility of 32kHz DAT?

compare with some of the caps in this thread:
http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ad.php?t=11077

also, this shows the subtle diff between 128kbps cbr mp3 and 32kHz dat

I'd been thinking about this one and wondered if it was one of the Zep Master>DATs!

Good to know I'm getting better at reading these things.
