What torrent are you trying to help out on? If all the other seeds are handling the feed to the clients they may just be checking out your connection and then returning to a more promising seed. I have Adelphia cable and have never been limited or blocked.

I'm trying on every torrent I have and I have about 20 or so but not 1 will let me connect with anybody to seed!!! I just forwarded ports 6881-6889 TCP and UDP on my local area connection I don't know what else to do!! This is driving me crazy!!!!!!!

Alrighty I figured it out!!! It was BitTornado I used uTorrent again and it worked fine I even got to stay and seed!! about 50 to 60 KB/s which is good enough I suppose. Better than nothing. I screwed up earlier using uTorrent by taking the partially downloaded files from Tornado and started them up with uTorrent. Something wasn't working right when I did that so I just started one up all on it's own on uTorrent and it worked nicely!! So i'm ready to go now I got my ports open and my new client!! thanks for all the info evryone it was damn useful!!!! Bill
