Opinions please

This sample is from a set of remastered SBD Clash tracks that have recently surfaced. Does this look to you like someone's played with mp3's or the lossless source? The upwards climb towards the end makes me think it's lossless, but that's quite the valley there...

Re: Opinions please

Maybe the tracks were VHS-sourced?

Re: Opinions please

Sadly there is no lineage, or at least I've not seen one. Super gig, and a pro mix, so I'm hoping it's lossless and seed-able

Re: Opinions please

Not used to looking for SA in Adobe, so I was slow with taking shots of this --from what I understand, not so promising.

Re: Opinions please

use megaupload/rapidshare/sendspace/etc pls

10 or 20 seconds is enough, or a short track

Re: Opinions please

Well, I have rec'd official confirmation that the person who gave it to me mistook someone's work with high-quality mp3's as being from a lossless source. Blah!

That said -- this is essential live Clash. The Shea show doesn't compare. The pre-remastered tracks that recently surfaced can be found here:

I would recommend that you burn some bandwidth though and download the remastered version (which annoyingly enough, has been posted in WAV format). You can find the tracks here:

Re: Opinions please

this is about as clear-cut as it gets (sorry to say )

certified LOSSY
