Masterport label - lossy ?

Hi. Sory if I read in incorrect place.
I have a copy of 3 recordings released originaly by Masterport. They are realy great sound, better than previous versions but I check them all and the format is lossy ! Is this normal for this label ?
I check Gypsy Eye bootlegs and they are ok.
