Re: How Do I transfer

VLC is just a viewer, it doesn't burn DVDs...you'll need a burning program [such as Nero on PC, or Toast on Mac] to burn a DVD-Video...

what OS are you on? [windows, mac osx, etc]
what burning programs do you have/use to burn cds & dvds with?

Re: DVD Burning Question

thanks for the help with Nero. I *think* I have it figured out. I was using the "Nero Smart Start" icon that was put on my desktop. That is where the project creation screen gets in the way. Was able to find Nero Burning Rom thru the good 'ole start menu....

appreciate the quick responses.

Regards,
Craig

Re: How Do I transfer

if you have Roxio, i think you use the regular burning prog, *not* DVD Builder...the DVDs at this site have already been "built"...

i'm not familiar w/ Roxio's programs, but hopefully one of the other regulars around here will be able to help you with more specific details...

Re: How Do I transfer

you'll need to burn the DVD show to a DVDR disc using yer DVD burner drive...a cd-rom drive can't burn dvdr's...also, some standalone DVD players will only play DVD-R, some DVD+R, and some both depending on make/model

Re: DVD Burning Question

Or on ROXIO 7 choose Disc Copier. On Source choose the selection "Disc Image or DVD-Video Folder". Select the Video_TS folder that contains your DVD and press OK. Then you should be able to select your DVD burner as the target drive. Burn and done.

Re: DVD show burning question

micenzo, don't worry about it. Aar.oner has been working on a guide for a little while. Just a mod joke I guess. Anyhow, back to the matter at hand:

--drag *all* of the files in the show's Video_TS folder [.ifo, .bup, & .vob files] to the RED Video_TS folder in the project window.

--drag the entire show's folder to the project window [including the Video_TS folder, info text, the .md5 checksum, artwork, etc]
--burn
