all torrent files download as attachment.torrent in Internet Explorer

Whenever I try to download a torrent file from Trader's Den using Internet Explorer, it downloads as a file named attachment.torrent, not the more descriptive name it should have. This is using IE 11 in Windows 7. It works right in Chrome, though.

Has anyone run into this before or does anyone know a solution?

Thanks,

Rob.

Haven't used IE in 3-4 years but never had an issue with TTD torrents.

Are you trying to save or open the torrents?

Re: all torrent files download as attachment.torrent in Internet Explorer

I use IE11 and do not have this problem.

When you start the process and click on save target as what do you see ? Try changing attachment.torrent to what you want to see and then possibly future torrents will save the same way ?

Does sound odd.
