Another DVD Lab Problem

Another one

I demuxed the VOB files, compiled, then when I hit "write" on the Burn DVD option I get the message "VIDEO_TS folder has no valid video files, or doesn't exist". I have used DVD Lab so many times, and this is something I have never seen before. Why is it telling me I have no files when I do? Thanks in advance for the help.

Try burning it with different burning software, see what happens.

Definately. Then get a new burner if that doesn't work.

Re: Another DVD Lab Problem

The burner is fine, but I've never used DVD Lab w/ this. I'm using my girlfriends computer, w/ an external DVD burner, maybe that's it. I'm gonna try it on my buddies PC tonight and see what happens. Thanks

I said try different software to burn the DVD, instead of Lab.

Download imgburn, it will burn files and ISOs.

If other software burns the DVD, then the problem is with Lab, if it doesn't, it's most likely the DVD files.

It was just a suggestion, no need to be cocky. The burner could ave bin the case.

Re: Another DVD Lab Problem

That function may be for burning an already compiled disc? Try compiling the disc in DVD Lab and then use ImgBurn to write the disc. It really is the best program on a PC for burning video discs.

He said he demuxed and compiled.

I assume the DVD was authored but the "write DVD" function on Lab didn't work for him.

Re: Another DVD Lab Problem

Yes, everything was demuxed and compliled. When I hit "write DVD", the program claimed there were no valid video_ts files, which makes no sense.

I started work on my friends PC yesterday, I hope to finish tonight. I'm thinking my girlfriend's computer may have an issue.

Also, I'm using DVD Lab studio, instead of pro. Anyone had problems w/ this software?

Here some ideas.

Try to burn it with this:

http://www.imgburn.com/

If you can't, there's a problem with the DVD you compiled.
