Can I make a 33 rpm .mp3

soooooo


im trying to convert this .mp3 to replicate a record spinning at 33 rpm, any ideas?

a record cut at 33 1/3 rpm played back at 33 1/3 would sound..

heres whats up

i always play this record at 33 instead of 33 and im trying to replicated it with a digital file. i dont have my record or a recording setup. im wonering if i can use a basic software pack to just slow it down to replicate 33 rpm

cool edit pro, adobe audition, that free one I cant think of..

they all allow you to alter the pitch.. slow it down - if thats what you mean.

yea, slow it down, but there is no setting for like 45, or 33

what whould i do to alter the track?


slow it down until i sounds right?

33.33/45=.7406

Set the speed for about 74% of the current speed & that should be about right.

you should be able to get it with audacity (audacity.sourceforge.net) or if you're less technically inclined, roni slow me down or similar.

Audacity's speed change plugin lets you specify the speed change in terms of before-and-after record RPMs.

Correct. Just go to Effect > Change Speed. It should have a spot that says Standard Vinyl RPM, and you can select from the drop-down boxes to convert what to what.
