Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

Usually there is a reset button on the router that will reset the username/password (I believe). Can you post the make/model of your router and we can look into it for you.

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

Have you gone here to see if you really are firewalled (or are you showing up in red brackets on the torrents)?

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

this is what I got when I ran that link u posted

Attempting connect to: 71.248.30.19 port 6881
Fail!
Unable to connect. This likely means you need to adjust your port forwarding configuration, or there is no client running on that port.

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

OK, what OS are you running? And, do you have any sort of firewall programs on your computer? And, do you have a router or modem? And, if so, what brand and model number?

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

I'm on win XP, and there's not firewall software that I installed, unless it came on the computer, which I disabled the "windows firewall"

I'm on a linksys WRT54G router

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

Here's a link that should help you forward your ports: http://www.portforward.com/linksys/wrt54g.htm If the images don't look exactly like yours, you probably have a slightly different model, so go here (on the bottom of the page) to look at the other models: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

Re: help! i dont wanna be red :(

Did you make sure to set up a static IP and not a dynamic one? That's a mistake many people make.
