question about seeds and peers

im using azureus and in the "my torrents" section there are two columns named "seeds" and "peers". in each of these columns there are two numbers. the second number is in parentheses. i was just wondering what these numbers meant?

on the torrent im currently downloading the seeds column says 1 (2) and the peers column says 0 (2).

thanks

Re: question about seeds and peers

The first number is how many seeds or peers (leechers) you are connected to. The second number in parenthesis is the total number of seeds or peers that are on the torrent.
