I think H.C. is coming back. I hope it's soon.
well get in touch with all the major seeders ya knew over there and tell em to come here...my experience yrs back was that most of the Dylan stuff out there wouldn't be up to our requirements tho

Re: Hungercity?

maybe they are waiting for DNS to propagate?

I recommend a new name. The brand is tarnished.

I think the Dylan Videos would...lots of sound upgraded shows, in the same vein as Grateful Dead videos that are such an important part of this site, and they were upping several concerts per week. I have no opinion to give on the Dylan audio.

I think we must accept it has gone for good.
I must sort out my old HC downloads and seed them elsewhere.

Re: Hungercity?

That's pretty sad if it's gone for good. Too bad the owners won't say Goodbye and Thanks for the good times before they go.

Here's an update on Hunger City.

There is no update. Staff is communicating but nothing from he who holds the power.

Re: Hungercity?

Was Grayson running Hungercity? I mean, this is sounding awfully familiar.

Re: Hungercity?

Terrible name, anyway.

I can understand not wanting to run it anymore... I don't understand not communicating.

Re: Hungercity?

A few years ago it was a great place to find classic rock, The Beatles rare videos, off the wall things...

Then it morphed into Dylan and Stones. One time the torrent page featured 21 of 25 listings as Dylan. Jazz never caught on there. While TTD has widened it's scope, HC choked on it's own content. Maybe it died from musical malnutrition. ...if it's dead.
