FLAC decode troulbes, HELP!

Hey guys
recently (like, 2 days ago) ive been having this error with FLAC decoding.. In the DOS window i recieve this message:

06_shibusa_17sep06_starp_d1t06.flac: error while decoding data
state = flac__stream_decoder_read_frame.

The same happens with Traders Little Helper.. I even tried reinstalling both.
any ideas what this means??? Or what i can do to fix it?
any help appreciated! THANK YOU!

Re: FLAC decode troulbes, HELP!

Are you positive you completed the download? Did you run the ffps on the files first to verify them? Has anybody else posted in the thread about having problems?

Re: FLAC decode troulbes, HELP!

I've had some old flac files fail to work in mplayer for me, but using metaflac to decode them to wav worked, then recoded them to new flac files.. I can only assume there was some incompatibility with the original flac format that made them unplayable.

Re: FLAC decode troulbes, HELP!

I had trouble with quite a few different files when using macflac and flac frontend yesterday. I then had no problem when using traders little helper on those files. I know you already tried this but I haven't had problems with macflac before and not to much with flac frontend so I thought I would mention it in case it is a common problem in the next few days. I'm almost ready to blame it on comcast.
