newbie needs help

so i downloaded my first show, and i can watch it on my computer, but when i go to my dvd burn program it doesnt recognize the file type. do i need to convert the files into a different file type?

what type of files are they?

and what burn prog. are you using?

All the DVDs offered here are pre-authored. Most likely you're running the authoring application of whatever burning program you're using. You don't need to do that. You just need to burn the files as is,

they are .vob files when i open them they are mpeg files.....

just use whatever you are using...

burn the DVD as a data disc.. with the VIDEO_TS folder and the AUDIO_TS folder

if there is no audio folder that came with the download, add one anyways because some dvd players require it to be there, even if it is empty

i am trying to use windows movie maker and the media center, but neither will import the files, is there a program i can downlo9ad to use for burning?
