Question SHN issue

I have looked all over and just cannot find an answer as to why or if there is a way to fix some shn files I have.

Problem is that I have a few shows that are in shn format and they will not play in my preferred player. I user MediaMonkey and have tried different versions of supported plugins for MM (which are the WinAmp plugins) I downloaded FooBar2000 and it will play the files I am having an issue with. I would like to find either a plugin for MM that will work. Everything I have read and found does not work. Anyone found a way to get the Foobar shn plugin to work with MM? Or the other option I can think of is to try and repair the shn files so they will play in MM. Concern is that I do not want to lose any quality in the recording as it plays in FooBar.

Any ideas or help greatly appreciated.

Re: SHN issue

SHN is a clunky wrapper. Decode them to WAV or re-encode them to FLAC...

Re: SHN issue

Like tonebloke said, stick too Foobar. If you really insist on keeping MM as your preferred player convert the files to WAV or FLAC (you can use TLH for doing this and you won't loose quality).
