Re: Trader's Little Helper

I know there are only about 1,000 pages on here of instructions about the minute details of flac fingerprints, but I'm still having trouble. I'm trying to upload an audio torrent and can't get the flac fingerprints from TLH. I see them when I run TLH, but I can't copy them or do anything else with them to get them into the torrent. I've only posted about 500 shows on Dime, but this "simple" little step keeps tripping me up over here. Should I just use Flac Frontend?

Re: Trader's Little Helper

When you see your flac fingerprints in TLH, you can highlight them, and hit ctrl-c to copy them (can't right click to copy them here for some reason) then paste where you need to.

Or, you should be able to get TLH to save a ffp file - you can make your computer open the ffp file in notepad or wordpad, and copy them from there...

Re: Trader's Little Helper

Most people don't know about the "magic" of the Save button: right-click the button and a popup menu will be opened that allows to copy the fingerprints to the clipboard.

Thank you very much. Ctrl-C did the trick. I knew it had to be something simple, but I just couldn't find it. I need to start posting over here and not put everything on Dime.

Well, the TLH site is a bit outdated - I'm a lazy guy, I'm afraid.

I've tested TLH up to Win 7 (32/64 bit), but I don't have Win 8/8.1/10, so no tests with the latter on my side. But until now there isn't any user feedback about serious problems on Win 8/8.1/10. From my point of view TLH works on Win 10.

This error message usually pops up when Windows refuses to execute one of the free command-line programs TLH comes with. Without more info about what you want TLH to do it's really hard to tell what's going wrong (maybe you've installed TLH in a folder where the new security settings Microsoft came up with Win Vista are causing trouble).

Glad it works, though basically it's not a good idea to install a program to C:. Anyway, it seems to be a problem with the TLH installer that isn't really able to handle this properly. I'll try to fix the installer with the next TLH release.

Re: Trader's Little Helper

Strange. On my version of Win10 TLH works well, I did a standard install so TLH is installed in "c:\Program Files (x86)\Trader's Little Helper" and the DOS subcomponents are in the subdirectory "CmdlineApps".
