Is there a right answer?

Are these 2 the same source?

I am just getting the hang of uploading shows, so I thought I would ask. If they are multiple sources, then it's not an issue, right?

Re: Is there a right answer?

I guess this isn't an issue even though it is the same source.
They are even originally from the same master tape. In fact, doesn't the second one use the first as it's source?
One is ReMaster number one. Good but raw sound. For the recording purist. Rough and right from the master.
One is ReMaster number two. Also very good, more processed and refined. Tweaked and tweezed to be 'perfect'.

Oh, no, wait, I'm thinking of another version of this.
These are the same. Exactly. They are what I was calling ReMaster number two. They are both the PRRP version's shn fileset. I dunno why?
I have the 'first' version somewhere. It is good, but like all good live FM tapes, is a little rough around the edges. PRRP cleans that stuff up very well judging by some of their other stuff.
The right answer to me is that one of these should maybe be pulled.

Re: Is there a right answer?

The version # 1 you mention appears to be active here http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...&highlight=yes

I grabbed them both and #1 is no slacker. I have not done side by side... but they seem to be very close. Don't feel bad if you have either one, imo.

Thanks guys! I do not want to start slinging "stuff" around, but I go to much effort to search the tracker for active torrents before I u/l anything. I even take an few minutes extra to check inactive torrents (so I can reference it as a "re-seed"). It's better for everyone this way. The member who put that duplicate fileset up had good intentions. I hope it will not discourage him to share in the future. Peace!

Re: Is there a right answer?

a great way to check is by searching the date in yyyy-mm-dd format, use advanced search titles of threads only.
