New to dvd ripping assistance needed most desperately!

Hi new to dvd ripping have old Imac 10.1.4os,LaCie external burner, toast6.1.lite burning software, handbrake converting software (to quicktime) have been downloading cds quite successfully for years(just using IMac) able to download video files fine encoding is fine even burning is fine however the finished product is incomplete the file has parts the parts labelled videots_.01_01, VTS_01_0, VTS_23_10 do not come out VTS_01_1 is viewable and fabulous. We lost about 26 minutes of footage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you mlm :

I'm afraid I don't fully understand what you are writing. It looks like you miswrote the file names. Perhaps taking a screencap (apple+shift+4 click-drag) would show us what you mean?
