Re: Sudden stat jump?

Your being firewalled is not in anyway related to what happened to the stats the other day. Everytime you connect to the tracker, it does a quick test to see if you are firewalled. That test has not changed between our trackers. And, you can get green lights even if you are firewalled (at least you can on Azureus).

XP has a built-in firewall. I have a link in my sig on how to forward through it. If you need more help, your best bet it to make your own thread in Technobabble and ask for help there.

I use XP with no router, and have made no change in my settings. I already checked your link for windows XP forwarding (http://www.portforward.com/help/pers...wssp2port.htm). My port range is 6881 thru 6889 and am unsure of what to forward them to when following the how-to guide noted above. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
Note: I restarted my torrents... Now, when I go to thetradersden.org it no longer says FIREWALLED under my name in the top right hand corner in capital letters. However, if I click on the peerlist it does show my name in red... But my upload speed is comparable to, or better than, the other peers listed; and my Bit Tornado is still showing a green light.... Am I truly firewalled? Again, any help or suggestions appreciated.

Note: I leave my XP firewall disabled.
