Newb question - starting a torrent again

So, I'm downloading a video and when I shut off Azureus (vuze?) last night I was at a bit over 50%, 1.8gb out of 3.6gb. I start it up today and while I started out at the same 1.8gb, Azureus says I'm only at 30%. What gives? Will the dl get messed up? Anything I should do? Many thanks!

Re: Newb question - starting a torrent again

Did you simply shut down Azureus or did you hit the Stop button for the torrent first? If I recall, there is a setting in Azureus where it saves the data to memory until it has a complete piece and then it gets written. If you close the torrent by just closing Azureus, then you can lose this data. You can also right-click on the torrent name and tell it to do a Force Recheck and it will go and see exactly what it has and give a more accurate percentage complete.
