Firewalled Laptop

Hmmm! I got a laptop and need some help from you guys, as I'm not quite sure how to prevent being firewalled when I'm at home.

I have a wi-fi router which is ethernet wired to my pc. When the pc is off, and the laptop is up and running, anytime I open uTorrent, I show as firewalled, even though I have changed the port within uTorrent. Obviously the pc is not firewalled, so I'm presuming this is not the fault of the router. I know I'm missing the point here somewhere, so any ideas welcome.

Re: Firewalled Laptop

How is your laptop connecting to the internet?

Directly to the router thru WiFi
Directly to the router thru ethernet
or
via the other PC thru WiFi or Ethernet?

Each computer needs to use a unique port. Each port & IP must have an entry in the router.

Makes sense. I'll read up on it again. Thanks.
