with the increasing popularity with these things how about we start a sep forum in the technobabble section dedicated to this? id be willing to write the first tutorial on putting vids downloaded from here on your vid ipod. i think this forum would get ALOT of use

I agree. I'm sick of downloading and trying all these different converters based on google searches. Even Apples forums are less than helpful. I refuse to buy some software that allows me to watch shit on a tiny screen when there is free stuff available.

We also could use an iPod forum for converting audio also. I think all the minds here could better the Apple forums.

You know, you start threads like this while I am on vacation and they dddiiiiieeeee.

I can see this being a good, useful forum, but I can also see it being a bit too specific and therefore not too active. We also don't get a whole lot of questions here about portable players. Do you really think we need a forum for it or we just need to cover it in the FAQ? (If you do want to write something to go in the FAQ, I always give credit to users who write stuff for us.)
