Re: Making wmv's into a dvd

ta for the link AAR.oner , i found software to convert it with to dvd.

but if i do all this to change it to dvd, does anyone know if i will be able to make chapters, as its quite important.
So would splitting the wmv's first work, and then burn to dvd?
thanks

Re: Making wmv's into a dvd

you can use a program called WinAvi Video Converter (just google it) and with that you can convert WMV to DVD very easily. In the advanced settings, you can mess with the chapter settings. It won't allow you to put chapters in specific points (which may be a downside if you're trying to do 1 chapter per song or something like that) but you can set chapters at certain time intervals, like every 300 seconds or something like that.

You won't need to split it. If you have a decent DVD authoring program then once you have an mpg file chapters can be made wherever you choose, not at some arbitrary time.
