Unhappy How to make a DVD

Duh. I new, ok? So I download a Video torrent and it has these separate VTS files in the folder. Can I put them back together onto a DVD? Is possible, yes? And is there some way to edit these files and get rid of parts that I don't want on the DVD?
Any techo help is appreciated.
Yeah, I'm in my 50's.

All you need to do is burn the "video_ts" folder and everything inside it to a blank DVD disc and it should be playable on a regular dvd player. You don't have to convert, join or do anything to the files if you've downloaded a DVD from TheTradersDen.org

Yeah, you can use a program called DVDShrink ( www.dvdshrink.org ) to re-author the DVD and create a new version with only the parts you want.
