Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

I'm Firewalled !!! Been here 20 years and never happened

Went from 1.74 to 1.69 in a hurry.

Read the other firewalled threads and tried everything I could ( technically embarrassed I'm afraid ).

Anyone want to run me through this ... slowly LOL

Thanks much, Mike

I have just accepted my firewall. This is the only tracker it shows up on for me.

Same with me, no other site has me firewalled but at the same time my ratio drops everytime I grab a show here and I don't want that to keep happening either .

I don't know which is worse - that the site knows about the firewall problem and does nothing to fix it, or that non-firewalled members grab shows and then don't stay on to seed them so the firewalled people can get them too.

Re: Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

It is just some programming thing (that is about 20 years old) that tells you that you are firewalled. Check canyouseeme and if it says you are fine, don’t worry about it. TTD cannot tell your torrent app to treat you as firewalled. Your torrent app has it’s own script to determine if you are firewalled.

I abandoned one download recently because all seeders and peers were firewalled.

Not true, Lynne. It shows me as firewalled, and none of my torrents will start no matter how many leechers there are until a non-firewalled person jumps in and connects to me. And since it seems three quarters of the people show as firewalled, it gets frustrating.

Re: Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

Just checked my uploads. I have 4 going...on three I show as firewalled, on one I'm not. Explain that.

I had very similar issue on other tracker. Restarting "firewalled" torrents sorted that immediately. Unsure though if it was Transmission od Qbittorrent (I use both simultaneously).

Re: Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

This is the only site it happens on. Go to canyouseeme.org and plug in your port #. Should look something like 51945.

Re: Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

Not being critical, but what would it take for the administrators to care about this enough to fix it?

Re: Another "Firewalled Thread" ...

I've been getting that firewalled notice since I became active again after an extended break. And that's even with my port of choice being viewable on canyouseeme.org
