New Music

This sub-forum was extremely helpful on the old STG. I know you fellas are against most sub-forums, but I feel this is one that is truely warrented.
The torrents here are mostly of old bands and shows... All of the new music seems to have moved to dimeadozen, which is fine except I prefer the format of the TTD a lot better...

Frankly, I don't care about any of the old shows anymore. If there is ever a show I might want to grab, it gets buried in all the old stuff and I miss it. Maybe this is the focus you want for the site, but I just miss the old NEW music forum. Am I alone?

Re: New Music

I think they were after the tapers when they designed the site.
kinda ironic, don't ya think?

Na you aren't alone. I'm not interested in Floyd, Zep, or Phish videos either.

Re: New Music

Having a separate forum for new stuff was iffy on STG. Many users didn't like having to post their stuff in the New forum because they felt it was over looked. It's real easy to search here for it because all thread titles have to be YYYY-MM-DD. So, if you wanted to find all torrents from Oct 2005, you could just type '2005-10*' in the search bar and get them. Same with all from Sept 2005 - '2005-09*'.
