Things have changed (?)

Things have changed (??)

2019-06-27

Or am I just getting (more) demented? http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ilies/wtfa.gif

signed in last night (6/26 late) and the tracker seemed a bit different, but no big deal. like the search went right to the 'complicated' search option without giving the simple one first. It wouldn't retain search parameters so I had to re-enter each time. few other things but, as I say. I signed on this am with intention of uploading but (?)seem like serious flaws in the interface there:

1. the upload attachments button now leads to a window that covers everything -
before you had just a small window so you could see below and get hints if I needed them.

2. then you browse and select the the torrent, upload to the tracker, and wait for it to show up
in the window below. Problem is you can't see that window.

3. I decided to wait for about a minute, little bit longer. Before that was plenty of time. But the
window would -not- close so I could move to the next step. That would have been to upload the
file and seed it. Tried several ways, felt stuck, and logged out.

any insights, insults, ideas??

Rod.

Re: Things have changed (?)

well, if I come back on with Safari, it works again. I think.

I had 'updated' firefox a bit ago. (67.0.3 > 67.0.4) Worked everyplace else, but. More and more security features until you get one that's unusable. Also wiped all my passwords.

A couple of versions ago they produced one that wouldn't allow any extensions, couldn't reach wikipedia. My son went in, changed a line of code, worked fine. Couple days later they updated it the same way ...

I'm still wary, will see what happens. Thank you for taking an interest!
