I'm on the Jethero Tull Torrent on my computer at home, (this IP is at work). I'll have to check to see if the UL or DL # has changed, when I go home for lunch. My ratio went up in the Az. program over night when I checked this morning, but the tracker on the Traders Den page went down.

Now the ratio does not seem to be changing, it is still at 1.02. (2 hours after my last post, my UL isn't capped that low. )

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Your ratio shouldn't be changing right now if you are logged onto the site from an IP different than where you are running the torrent. The tracker updates stats based on IPs. Everytime you log onto the site, it grabs your IP. So, right now, it doesn't know who that person is on your home computer and so it won't be updating stats for it. Once we go to personalized torrents (read: once Lynne has time to code the personalized torrents here... ), then that won't be a problem. When you are done seeding, you can just drop me a note via the Contact Us link on the bottom of the page and let me know how much credit you are missing.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Thanks, I appreciate it.

I'm home right now and the Traders Den says it is still at 1.02, but the Az program is still seeding away and my ratio in the program keeps going up, strange.

it won't update till you hit stop right????? also don't forget to hit stop. You can't just close the torrent or it will not update.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

You are kinda correct. Some clients will update as you go, some won't update until you hit Cancel. But, I looked at Phanatic_Phan's ratio when he first posted and it has since gone up. So, he must have done something to get them to update (I think he hit cancel since it now shows him only being connected for less than an hour).

Re: Report all ratio issues here

I was gone for awhile and now that I'm back nothing new that I download is updating at all. And my ratio for the old torrent seems wrong.

I'm currently seeding the beatles flood reseeds 1 and 2...

I'm up to 1.15GB uploaded on flood 1 for example...this is over 1:1 and its not updated my stats at all.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Beatles Flood Torrents 1 and 2 are on the old tracker (uploaded prior to July 2) and so they will not update your stats.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

I know something's wrong with my ratio because I've had the same ratio since I joined here.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Phanatic, no you don't need to let us know the IP. Everytime you come to the site, the software grabs your IP (which is why it gets confused if you run bt from home and then login from work).

musicguy, are you sure you are uploading torrents that have been put on the new tracker? Only those shows will change your ratio.
