can i please get some help with this VM 1993 Dublin show?

i was digging through my trade cds and came upon this really nice Van Morrison show on audio cds that i was preparing to torrent.

problem is, it has these annoying dropouts, or clicks or something. not really sure what to call them. i located one in its frequency profile (if that's what it is called) in a wave editor i have (cyberlink wave editor 2) and i don't see anything strange on the frequency profile.
i then ran the track (4) in traders ittle helper to 'check for sbe's' (sector boundary errors? if thats what it is) and it says it does have those.

please read the info i'm working on for it. i'm hoping someone would kindly listen to some of this and see if its fixable or not. i'm thinking it may already be a fixed version, or i might have screwed up when copied the vine disks to some substandard cds. (maxell CDR-Pro)*

thanks for any help !

nice performances and recording , but i think i'm hearing quite a few dropouts. this might need a rework? or if someone has a reworked version to share, please do!

actually, the artwork to the reworked version matches the tracklist of these disks.

Maybe i had a problem with copying the vine cds?
i see these are maxell 'cdr-pro' disks that were supposed to last longer than basic cdrs. i remember i had alot of disk failures in that spool... so i never got any more.

artwork included
thanks to the artists, tapers and sharers! enjoy!

Re: can i please get some help with this show?

I believe that CD copy errors tend to be more prevalent towards the end of discs (I had a Steve Earle one that had numerous errors towards the end of the discs) and they also show up on the waveform as a distinct spike, so I'm guessing it's not that. Do you have AccurateRip enabled? Obviously, bootlegs are less likely to be in the database, but worth checking for nowt.

Other than that, checking db.etree shows one trader with a copy that is

thanks lintoni!
yeah i saw that listing at etree. i might try and check with that guy (mr smith?) that has the fixed version and listen to that (if he's forthcoming.)

not sure about 'accurate rip'. is that part of EAC? or an add on? or ?

update: that guy's got one hell of a tradellist.
i never joined that .org, but i did used to download a few shows there, somehow sneaked in...
maybe its up there? not sure how to find their available shows anymore...
might just ask jtt, (yikes!)

Re: can i please get some help with this VM 1993 Dublin show?

thanks, homebrew
i installed it and am ripping the cd 1 to wavs as i type.
it apparently looked up the cd (by track sizes or what, i don't know) right after i put the cd in the drive and said there was not a match in the database.
so unless my eac is screwed up (which i doubt as i just ripped another set of audio cds and posted another torrent.)
i'm gonna listen to the newly ripped wavs, please stay tuned!

update: nope, wild night is still 'glitchy'.
i gotta locate the fixed set or just blow it off.
pity, its a great show.
thanks, that was a great idea! just no data is posted.
