Re: Dual Layer DVD to regular dvd-r on an apple (iso program like dvdshrink )

This was something I was just wondering about today. Doing a search on dvdhelp.com came up with the following options:

DVDRemaster
- Trialware $40
Roxio Popcorn (hehe - gotta love their names!) - Payware $50

If someone has used either of these or knows or more, please post.

I think you're better off with DVD2OneX which definitely allows you to split by layers so you can burn each to a single DVD-R. It's much more configurable than Popcorn should you need to compress.

heres a few that are on version tracker...some are freeware & some $$$...i've never used any of em so i can't really comment as to quality:

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/17775 [looks like no further development has occurred in a while]
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19238 supposedly this a is a good tool, but costs $30 for the full version [trial version only does part of the movie
