Uploading help needed

I used Azureus to create my torrent. I followed the BitTorrent help section to do that. When I go to the torrent upload page and fill everything out and go to attach my torrent file it won't upload. I get an error message "upload of file failed". What gives? I been trying to create a torrent and upload it for two weeks now. WHEW!!!!! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Uploading help needed

Well, none of the torrents are actually getting uploaded, so this is a torrent failure, not a vbulletin failure. So, the reasons for a torrent upload failure are:
- your announce url may be incorrect. Open the torrent in a text editor and make the announce url above is listed near the top of the torrent file. There should be a number "56" in front of the announce url.
- the file size is too big. Some torrent making applications make HUGE torrent files. Try using Azureus or uTorrent to make the torrent file.
- the torrent is already on the tracker. The tracker looks at the torrent hash. To get by this, change your text file slightly and make a new torrent. Also, give the torrent file a slightly different name.

My guess would be the first reason, so open it in a text editor and check our the announce url as stated. If you want to email it to me to take a look, you can: [email protected]
