Re: Best Burning Software?

Sony Vegas/Architect are for editing and authoring DVDs, not burning them

Nero is alright, better than Roxio and all those no-name progs

alot of us have found that the best quality/most reliable burning prog for the windoze platform is ONES:

Re: Best Burning Software?

just use Nero...burn audio shows as data...for DVD shows, you can burn a watchable copy that also has the info and checksums included:

--open nero & select DVD-ROM (UDF) as yer disc type
--drag the show's VIDEO_TS folder [and its contents] to the project window
--drag [or create] an empty AUDIO_TS folder
--create a EXTRAS_TS folder, put all extra files in it [info text, checksum, art, etc]
--burn

most of the standalone players out there nowadays will play the disc, and you haven't lost yer source info and md5s

Re: Best Burning Software?

DeepBurner is free for some uses http://www.deepburner.com/index.php?...&prr=provsfree. Actually, you can use the free version to burn video too. You just have to create audio_ts and video_ts folder manually.

The thing that I like best about this program is that it will burn multi session data DVDs.
