You might want to check versiontracker and see what it comes up with. When I google for it, I come up with a couple of pay-to-use applications, but versiontracker may have some free ones.

this thread is over a month old so you probably found something by now.. but i use a program called dvd2ipod or something like that, and i think Handbrake is another program that will do it which should be even better.
