The
Sony MZ-N10 records using ATRAC DSP Type-S and only has a line out. The pics you have posted look exactly like what the lineage advertises it is, with no mp3 encoding done.

Also, we don't have anything for Type-S in that thread, if at all possible could you upload a 20 second sample or just a short track from this show to rapidshare.com or similar? thx in advance!
ps also, did he tell what soundcard+software was used for the transfer?
