Yes. This is a file association issue. The computer recognizes the .flac extension and associates it with a program that uses it (along with displaying that programs associated icon in the windows display window.) in this case winamp. It may be that your other computer had the flac plugin for winamp and this one doesn't or it is built into the version of winamp you currently have. It might have displayed the plugins icon before and now it is showing winamp.

If you want to force the computer to open flac file with another program (which will change the icon to the program's flac one) do this.


when in my computer ? tools > folder options
click on file types tab
browse to flac or shn or whatever
click change
browse to the .exe of the program that opens the flac file, etc.
