i have to be timeless, else i'd get caught up in stereotypes and other hindrances.
but i have learnt that timeless does not equal ageless.
i am at ease with people ten years younger, but i find the language barrier between myself and people twenty years younger to be a bridge that i'd sooner burn than cross. that's sheer bloody laziness, though, you understand, rather than a measure of my own out-of-touchness with kids.
if i were much younger i'd be too young to understand the things i understand. if i were much older, i'd be too tired.
