example i had a 48 minute video with a bitrate of 8 and it said it was to high to burn on a standard dvd-r
You can go up to 9.8MBps including data and audio and shouldn't have any troubles. You should have no problem doing 8MBps data rate with a 44.1/16 WAV.

Whatever program you're using is trying to keep you under that to be safe. Is there a way to disable the warning it's giving you and create it anyway?
