You really only have two choices:
- Buy a Philips DVD player from Amazon or your local Walmart, that can play Divx (MPEG-4 codec AVI). These run about $50 are are great machines. I don't really suggest other brands for Divx/Xvid playback.
- Buy ConvertXToDVD and make yourself true DVD-Video discs to play in a DVD player. Also about $50. Again, there are some other options -- some pay, some free -- but I don't really suggest them for the best quality output (or the as being easy to use).
Others mentioned both of these options briefly, but I wanted to give you some more details.
