You want xACT:
http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/14246 . It is the all-in-one app for Mac. Traders Little Helper came about *because* of xACT. It was around first.
You can repair permissions at anytime. You can have Azureus or whatever apps running at the time.
You run md5s with xACT. I like bittorrent better than tomato torrent, but I prefer Azureus.
