Hi liveman! Still haven't liberated that Nick Cave Duende cd, but will do so soon and will be posting it on this site.

If you're copying DVDs used in trading, the easiest, and I think best way to copy it is to make an image and then burn it, unless you want to add info. I usually rip them to my HDD because I like to add info into the txt file to document the video/audio quality.

Here's some tools to get:
DVD Decrypter: Free. Rips to your HD or makes an image and can burn the image.

GSpot: Free. Allows you to look up the audio and video info of your DVD. Just browse to one of the vob files, open it up and it will show you all you need to know, like so:

Also, if you're just archiving flac shows onto DVD, I believe you should select the UDF/ISO option as oposed to just ISO. If I understand it correctly, UDF is the newer "version" and so your discs won't become outdated, and yet will still be able to be read as ISO when needed. I could be wrong, but that's what I got from what I've read on the subject.
