this and the way its a little fuzzy-sounding with the vocals mixed way to high lead me to believe that this might be Polly's IEM (monitor mix). that's my best guess. There may not have been a bbc one broadcast of this at all... something worthy of further investigation.

IEM may be a good explanation for this. It really sounds strange.
Found out that I have a second version of this session. There was a date mismatch, so I didn't realize it before. It's a Peel session, to be correct.
FA doesn't look unusual on this one to me. Cuts a little early, below 15 khz. Stripe is a mess in the short SA. ... And faint hyphens are much clearer!
But Polly's voice sounds much more normal on this one.
