Wow. Kind of interesting for a novice, but wow and flutter on an auto-reverse deck would suck. Azimuth adjustment (tape head alignment to the recorded tracks on the tape) is crucial for optimum sound reproduction,and high frequencies...
I'd rather get a good real tape deck on Ebay and plug that into a sound card or whatever... which I did years ago.
