Thanks guys. I am using Ubuntu
I had to figure out how to install deb packages and once I did I was able to download the two packages for flac (I was missing libflac6) and install them fine.
I followed the instructions (better this time?) and was able to install the shn plug-in.
I am really liking linux.
I just have one more question with wine to be asnwered (its installed but I can't find the fake windows drive) and I am good to go.
