^thanks, some nice deatil about ripping & settings there.

strangely, nothing about write offsets (did I miss that page?). it is beneficial to set read offsets and write offsets separately mainly for the purpose of doing the rip-burn-rip test to find out if your offsets are truely 100% correct for your system. While the accuaraterip database is faultless afaik and very reliable its nice to see it through and at the end say to yourself, "wow, its really perfect now".

but this is for geeky-types only... setting the quality settings high as possible and using the accuraterip value (automatic) is adequate for 'normal' people, and almost certainly perfect
