What suggests a good transfer?

I'm wondering what really suggests a good tape>wav transfer. Below is a spectral and freq analysis of a generated tape that was converted to a wav file@44kHz. A Denon tape deck was connected to the PC, and recorded using Gold Wave. It sounds good, and is apparently lossless, but I'm concerned with what technically makes it a good transfer. Is there something specific I should be looking at in the spectral/freq. analysis? Why would the freq. show if the tape was running off speed. Thanks!
