Free Trading Software Release

Please try Jay’s Music Curation Utilities v2.2 – for Windows

...at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e6n...ew?usp=sharing

This software will inventory your vast collection and allow you to easily browse the entire collection or search by date, artist or venue. This does a very good job of navigating the various structures that traders have adopted and abused over the years, identifying artist, shows and set lists.

It will let you easily identify the hard drive where the show is stored so you can find things.

You get a window to perform the inventory and a second window for a search box that lets you select and open the set lists associated with the shows returned by the search.

You can inventory your whole collection at once, or incrementally. I keep track of where the shows are regardless of how you connect your drives.

I’ve tested it on ~37,000 shows (~24TB) from my collection and a bunch of archived vines with well under a 0.1% “confusion” rate – where the show name is something completely meaningless (like d1-original) or I didn’t catch the set list file.

And there are logs so you can somewhat easily hunt down the few mislabeled shows or missing set lists.

Coming soon…Drag and drop shows that you want to send someone onto a window, provide the destination where to put the copies and connect drives so I can look for the shows. I’ll tell you to stop connecting source drives when everything has been found.
